Absolutely, both Chalets have fully equipped kitchens and include kitchen essentials such as oil, salt, pepper, herbs, sugar, coffee, tea, hot chocolate. There is even an apron for the cook!

Stunning

From the moment we walked in to the Chalet, we were totally blown away by the attention to every detail in the design, fit out and presentation of the Chalet which is absolutely stunning and contributed significantly to our absolutely awesome experience.

I cannot thank Andrew and Elaine enough for your advice, which has been derived from many, many years living and skiing in the local area that was absolutely priceless to us.

Perfect 5 night stay

We are a group of 6 who have just returned from a perfect 5-night stay at Chalet Vache Bleue. The chalet is even more beautiful in real life and everything has been done to a very high standard. Andrew & Elaine are truly wonderful hosts and go the extra mile to make sure that guests enjoy their stay. The location of the chalet is also ideal, it is so close to the ski bus which is just a short journey into Meribel centre. Les Allues is a lovely Village with some great restaurants (which were delicious and much more affordable than eating in Meribel centre). We would all recommend a visit to Chalet Vache Bleue in a heartbeat.

Couldn’t fault it

We have just returned from a week at Chalet Vache Bleue and will definitely be going back. Everything about the chalet is quality; from the extremely warm welcome we received on arrival to the fixtures, fittings and furnishings. The chalet is warm, bigger than the pictures portray and spotlessly clean, but the real treat was the attention to detail such as hand warmers, chocolate, piste maps and even suntan lotion.

Chalet formidable

Accueil très chaleureux et sympathique de la part des propriétaires. Nous avons adoré le chalet où rien ne manque c'est le top. Nous recommanderons ce chalet à des amis sans problème. Literie excellente, tout est mis en place par les propriétaires pour que l'on passe de bonnes vacances dans leur chalet formidable où rien ne manque. Un bonjour des Bordelais pour Elaine et Andrew. Quality of craftsmanship

Situated in the village of Les Allues and a short walk to the Bus or Gondola this chalet was in immaculate condition. The building has been carefully refurbished and the pictures of 'before and after' show the quality of the craftsmanship that is evident. We were a group of 6 adults and each of the 3 well sized bedrooms were en suite.The Kitchen was extremely well stocked with all necessary cooking utensils and the quality of the furniture throughout the chalet was appropriate to the description. Andy was there to greet us on arrival and had plenty of helpful tips for the week ahead. We will definitely return!

Would recommend to anyone

Andrew and Elaine were perfect hosts. Elaine met us at the agreed time and showed us around the chalet, which had everything we needed as a group of 6 for a comfortable stay. The chalet is top spec as well as spotlessly clean. The hosts have thought of everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible - games, dvds, lovely cake, wine, comfy dressing gowns! Nothing was too much trouble for them. Andrew and Elaine also have a wealth of information about local skiing, which helped us plan our time in the 3 valleys. The fire was lovely to relax in front of in the evening after a day in the snow. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area and hope to return soon.

Our 6th year

This is our 6th year staying at Chalet Vache Bleue... we simply love it... the nicest chalet in the village.. everything is tip top.. from literally the smallest to the largest. Andy and Elaine don't miss a trick from the small laminated cards telling you which runs to go on... to the a complete and fully loaded kitchen. You literally need to just bring your suitcase and you'll feel right at home. They are always available for any sort of advice or questions regarding your stay or the area.. see you again next year!

Finished to the highest standard

My family has just spent an amazing week at Chalet Vache Bleue in the beautiful and charming village of Les Allues. This accommodation is extremely well appointed, has a superb layout and finished to the highest standard. It is spotless, modern but homely, and it was truly a pleasure to come back each evening to such comfort. Andrew and Elaine were always close at hand if we needed any advice and there was even gorgeous home baking at times from Elaine! A frequent and free bus service to Meribel is only a few minutes away, although we enjoyed the bars and restaurants in Les Allues itself. We are so happy to have discovered this chalet and look forward to our next visit!

All the little touches

We would like to thank you for providing such wonderful accommodation in Les Allues. We are a family of 6, including my son and his wife, and it was great to find a place where all three rooms had an en suite. Chalet Vache Bleue gave us one of the best holiday accommodation experiences we have ever had. We had the flexibility of eating in or out. You were both so helpful with advice before setting off from Australia and continued to provide useful suggestions during our stay. The place was immaculate, beautiful high ceilings, really spacious. We wanted for nothing. It was home away from home. All the little touches, warm boots in the morning, gifts on arrival, Internet access, inviting fireplace, superbly stocked kitchen. …the list goes on. Just fabulous, thank you. Cathy and Michael.

All the benefits of superior accommodation at a better price

Chalet Vache Bleue is one of the best kept secrets in the Three Valleys. Once we unearthed this hidden gem, Andrew and Elaine made booking easy and gave us the sense we were very welcome in their stunning Chalet. The high quality finish, modern decor and clever layout made the Chalet feel like a real home from home, which was a fantastic way to relax in after a hard day on the slopes. We were slightly worried that being a little out of town would take something from the experience, but the frequent and free bus service meant we got all the benefits of superior accommodation at a better price, and still didn’t miss out on any of the nightlife in Meribel. All in all, we had probably the best skiing holiday we’ve ever had at Chalet Vache Bleue, and we’ll be booking up for next year before too many people find out about it

Comfort after a day on the slopes

The problem with giving a good review is that it encourages others to visit, and when, like our family, we have returned for three consecutive years, this simply increases the risk that it will be inconveniently booked already!

But our recurring visits to this beautiful alpine village say it all. We were one of the first to stay at this stunningly converted old barn in arguably the best location in the village. Old barn it is no more, with three gorgeous en suite bathrooms serving each a double bedroom that retain some original charm and individuality. The open plan sitting room breathes modernity with Wi-Fi, Bose music system and TV at your fingertips, with leather settees offering comfort after a tough day on the slopes in arguably the best skiing in Europe.
